Salary Insights Guide

Salary Insights is a crowdsourced, completely anonymous tool built to help CBSE educators research market salary rates, understand pay structures (PGT, TGT, PRT), and negotiate salaries.

1. Absolute Anonymity Guarantee

We take confidentiality seriously. To ensure you can share your salary safely without workplace repercussions:

  • No PII Saved: The database does not associate your salary entry with your name, email address, or user account ID.
  • Aggregate Data Only: Public listings display only aggregate averages, ranges, and designations based on the city/state, never individual listings linked to specific profiles.
  • Database Encryption: All connection and tables are fully encrypted and protected.

2. Sharing Your Salary

To keep the insights database accurate and helpful, we invite all registered teachers to share their current salary packages:

  1. Log in and visit the Salary Insights Panel.
  2. Click on Share Your Salary Anonymously.
  3. Select your CBSE school, designate your post (PGT, TGT, PRT, etc.), enter your subject, years of teaching experience, and gross monthly salary.
  4. Submit. The information is integrated into aggregate graphs instantly.

3. Analyzing Pay Scales

On the Salary Insights dashboard, you can filter reports by:

Post Level

PGT, TGT, PRT, Principal, Coordinator.

Location

Filter salaries by City, State, or Region.

Subject

Filter by Science, Mathematics, English, etc.
